After his father is senselessly slaughtered by Draakon Reavers, a naïve youth, Arwhon, is sent to his remarkable grandmother in Belvedere. Along the way he becomes an instrument of Fate, eventually destined to save Man from obliteration.
The evil Q’Herindam intend to wipe Man from existence. Only Darkwood magic stops them. Their paramount Mage recruits the ageless Empress Martine to wage yet another war for total Dominion. She captures the heirs to the Barsoom Throne and demands their homeland as ransom.
So begins the chain of events which transform the youth, Arwhon, into the hope of Man. Along the way he will need much help from the Servant who finds him, the beautiful, amethyst-eyed M’Herindar who Shields him and a giant bodyguard, his Arm.
The three books of True Fire, a fantasy trilogy, are written in the traditional epic style where the reader is immersed in a world populated with a multitude of realistic characters. They take on a life of their own and draw us, unwittingly, into sharing their existence while they pursue a solution to the evil growing in the land.
True Fire is a complete story and Books 2 & 3 will be released shortly.

'I am thoroughly impressed with your novel. Only now I've read a small part of the story and it's going to drive me potty wondering how all of this is going to pan out. Your characters are to die for. My favourite, even though he was only a small part of the story, was Redbeard. My favourite quote being from him "I will slit your purse and I don't mean the one that stores your money." What a hoot! Aside from the giggles that ensued at various points throughout the book, I also ended up with tears in my eyes at one particular point. I believe it was when Arwhon's brother and sister were parting.
I hate coming to the end of books, I always get sad. I wish books could just go on forevermore...'

Enjoyed the book and the story was intriguing. The only issues I had were at times the telling of the story felt stiff or forced rather than flowing as the author wanted something to happen and the events were pushed together. Will look forward to the next book.Product details

If you want to be up all night this is th book for you it's well written with interesting characters
Wonderful book--class swords and sorcery with interesting twists and turns--only suggestion is the main hero developed abilities a little too quickly...overall very enjoyable...

I really enjoyed this book it sets up well for the next one and I'm looking forward to that.
No great battles but plenty of action and the world building is good as are the different peoples. I also have a love of horses so this part of the story really adds to its enjoyment to me.
